I currently work at an early learning center with 0-3 year olds and I have been a camp counselor for children with disabilities.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
educational activities, walks, swimming, bike riding, going to the beach, nature adventures, art/creative play, singing, dancing, reading, and anything the child is interested in. I think that free play is very important for a child's development as they get to pick what they want to do.
My experience with special needs children...
For the past 6 summers (not counting COVID last year) I have volunteered at a camp for children with disabilities where I am one on one with a child as their counselor for the entire week. I have also been a unified partner of special olympics through my university.
