Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I'm pretty flexible! I love doing whatever they like to do as long as it's safe!! Usually I'll read my kids books before bed or we will watch a movie together. I enjoy taking kids to the park or just doing anything outside when it is nice to burn their energy! Sometimes we will take walk or go on a bike ride around the neighborhood. I also enjoy baking or doing arts and crafts with children. Usually we will play some type of game that most of the time they are the ones teaching me about!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think it's very important to create a fun and meaningful relationship with each child. Every child is different but I think it is important to have some type of bond with each one! I want them to be able to feel safe and comfortable around me! And be excited about me coming! Also it's important to have a good relationship with the parents because they are trusting me with their kids.
My experience with special needs children...
I personally have never babysat a special needs child but I am definitely willing to learn!!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I really love babies because they're just adorable!! Especially new borns. I would have to say one of my favorite moments was when I had a new born fall asleep in my arms! It doesn't happen often just because I don't babysit a lot of tiny ones.
