With older children, I like helping with homework, playing board games, or doing simple baking projects together. I always aim to create a balance of structure and fun, making sure the child feels safe, supported, and excited to learn and grow every day.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was watching a toddler I cared for take her very first steps. We had been practicing every day! holding hands, cruising along furniture and then one afternoon, she just let go and walked straight into my arms with the biggest smile on her face. It was such a proud and emotional moment, not just for her but for me too, because I knew how hard she had worked to get there. Being able to cheer her on, celebrate that milestone, and know I played a small part in her growth reminded me exactly why I love what I do. Moments like that stay with you forever.
