A little bit about me

Hi, I’m Amber. I have two years of experience working with children in school settings. I began as a substitute teacher, where I supported a variety of grade levels and classroom environments. For the past year, I’ve worked as a paraprofessional in an adaptive elementary classroom, primarily supporting students on the autism spectrum. In this role, I’ve provided one-on-one and small group support, assisted with behavior and communication strategies, and helped maintain structure daily. I have loved being able to support children behaviorally and academically. My goal is always to support each child’s individual needs and be patient with them. Also, since I have an education background I can help with homework or create some fun learning activities!
