Hi, my name is Amellia! Currently a student at William Paterson University majoring in Early Childhood Development (taking the semester off, to raise money). Babysitting is definitely up my alley. I've served as a live-in nanny for 6 months and have done a list of other babysitting jobs for the past 3 years. I honestly love kids, and they definitely reciprocate that energy! Everything. With the title of being a nanny means that you have to incorporate love and care with anything that you touch. Whether that is a baby or things around the house. You should treat everything as if it is your own.

My experience with special needs children...

I cannot say that I personally have experience caring for special needs children. However due to my major we have specific classes dedicated to disability. I will nurture, care, protect, and teach your child to the best of my ability!

The most important part about being a nanny...

On the last day of my live-in nanny job in Ridgewood. The boy 2 year old boy that I cared for for the 6 months ran up to me while I was leaving and would not let me go. The mother calls me to this day when he gets a little cranky because she knows that his way of asking for me. (I still visit every now and then, I am very close to the family)
