Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I've been helping with Sunday school since I was young, and was a summer camp counselor for a city recreation center for three summers in college. In graduate school in Texas, I ran my own piano lesson business on the side. Now, I live in Missouri and have 3 children ages 5 and under, and babysit my friend's children occasionally.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
--pre-school/kindergarten at home
--playing outside
--supervise free child play, alone and with others
--reading
--fun games
--music, singing, piano
--trying to work in Spanish...work in progress :)

The most important part about being a nanny...
Besides patience and respect for children as little persons-- I would say the ability to create that balance of structure and routine, go-with-the-flow, and spontaneity. This balance can look different for different nannies or even with different kids, but it always exists in a good nanny.
My experience with special needs children...
Almost none. I had a child who was blind in my Sunday school class for one year, years ago.... Given that I would be bringing my children and am new to working with children with special needs, it doesn't seem like I would likely be a good fit for this position. However, feel free to reach out, as it may work out depending on number of your children, and the situation.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Once, my three year old asked what a brain was. I explained it and she said, "No! I don't want a brain! Get it out!" and knelt and prayed, "Dear Jesus, please make my brain go away."
One of those sad, sweet, and funny moments all at once. I comforted her and explained a bit more but decided to let neurology discussions wait until she was older. Now it's not a problem. Some questions, time is the best answer. :)

Babysitter Available in House Springs, MO: Mia S.
Hi - My name is Mia and I am currently expecting my first baby! I provide childcare, and general household help. I’m flexible and happy to adjust to what each family needs!
Child Care
I’ve worked with children of all ages, but most of my experience is with little ones—newborns through about age 5. I’m very comfortable with routines like feeding, diapering, naps, and early learning activities. I’m big on keeping kids engaged without just relying on screens. I can also help with things like basic tutoring, homework, cooking simple meals, and keeping things tidy throughout the day.
Household Services
I have experience helping out around the house and keeping things running smoothly. I can assist with cleaning, laundry, organizing, and running small errands if needed.
Overall, I’m here to make your life a little easier while making sure your kids (and pups!) are happy, safe, and well cared for. I’d love to connect and see if I’m a good fit for your family! 💛

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in House Springs, MO: Samantha J.
Hello!
My name is Samantha and I have 13 years of childcare experience with infants and toddlers, including 11 wonderful years as a nanny before transitioning into working in childcare centers. I’ve always had a true passion for helping children learn, grow, and explore their world, and it’s a joy to be part of those moments every day. I love planning a variety of activities that support each child’s development—everything from gross and fine motor skill play, to creative art projects, to introducing simple sign language to help with early communication. Watching children light up when they master something new is one of my favorite parts of being a caregiver. I genuinely enjoy creating a warm, engaging, and nurturing environment where little ones can thrive. My schedule is flexible, and I’m happy to accommodate your needs! In addition to hands-on childcare, I’m also comfortable helping with meal prep, light housekeeping, and maintaining a smooth, organized day for your little one.

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in House Springs, MO: Lucy B.
I am a native and grew up in Northglenn, Colorado! I currently reside in beautiful Kremmling with my fiancé and dogs. As a native, I love everything nature! I have a pretty active lifestyle and like filling my schedule up with things to do. My friends would describe me as a cheerful, self motivated, and trustworthy person. I am currently a preschool teacher at a school in Kremmling. I adore working with children, I’ve babysat my own siblings and family friends since I was an adolescent. I have experience with ages 6 months to 12 yrs, as well as CPR and FA certification. This experience has given me opportunities to learn about the development and skills needed to be a successful nanny! From my long term history of working with kids I believe my mature personality, and zest for life compliments my skills perfectly. I aspire to be an amazing, gentle, and caring nanny for both the children and parents, as I believe a nanny should serve the family to create a trustworthy atmosphere.
