The after school soccer program that I was apart of had a field day for every school that had the program in it. All my kids showed up and their parents. This one kid that I had felt a connection with introduced me to his parents. Usually the parents of these kids would just pick them up and wouldn't really stay long to talk. When I met his parents, he introduced me by saying, "this is coach Amina and she's my best friend. Going to see her after school is my favorite part of the day." I almost cried. His parents also told me that he doesn't stop talking about me and the program and how much fun we have together. It honestly made my entire life hearing him say that.
