A little bit about me

Hello my name is Amy & I have been working in the childcare field for over 12 years now and absolutely love it! Within the years of working in childcare I worked with all age groups and was even a pre-k teacher for 4 years! My responsibilities before becoming a pre-k teacher included: diaper changing, bottle feeding infants along with swaddling and putting them down for nap, going for walks in the stroller, arts and crafts, music fun, story time & plenty of tummy time activities! When I started as a pre-k teacher my responsibilities were: planning fun activities, circle time learning which included going over colors, numbers, ABC’s etc, outside supervision, arts and crafts, music fun, setting up breakfast, snacks and lunch and nap time. I also worked with school aged children which would only be for part of the day, I was responsible for helping with homework and outdoor supervision as well. I love working with children! It is such a rewarding job to me❤️

My twins who had been hospitalized for a few months due to being born prematurely then were in an in home care for a few months, were very reluctant to be in anyone else's care. (As well as myself). When i saw Amy's interaction with my babies it was instant relief. She has such a loving, welcoming, kind way about her. She is also very knowledgeable, making it comforting to me leaving my twins (who had health issues) in her care. She taught them so much as well as gave them so much attention and love. Due to covid we no longer have Amy as their caregiver, however we keep in touch and she checks in often to see them. We love Amy and would 100% recommend her to anyone who is seeking care for their child/ren."
