More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have over six years of experience working with children in a variety of settings, including church nurseries, daycare centers, schools, ABA clinics, and in-home environments. Throughout my career, I have cared for infants, toddlers, preschool-aged children, and school-aged children, helping to create safe, nurturing, and engaging environments that support their growth and development.
My experience in church nurseries allowed me to provide compassionate care for infants and young children, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being while engaging them in age-appropriate activities. In daycare and school settings, I assisted with daily routines, supervised play, supported learning activities
As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) working in ABA clinics and in-home settings, I have extensive experience supporting children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental needs. I have implemented behavior intervention plans, taught communication and social skills

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
One of the most rewarding parts of working with children is creating fun, engaging, and meaningful experiences that support their growth and development. I enjoy planning age-appropriate activities that encourage creativity, learning, and confidence while ensuring children feel safe, happy, and supported. Some of my favorite activities include reading books, arts and crafts, sensory play, music and dance, outdoor play, nature walks, and educational games that help build language, problem-solving, and social skills. I also enjoy helping children with homework, practicing letters, numbers, colors, and shapes, and creating hands-on learning opportunities through play. With infants and toddlers, I love engaging in activities that promote developmental milestones, such as tummy time, interactive songs, story time, fine motor activities, and sensory exploration. For older children, I enjoy board games, imaginative play, science experiments, sports, creative projects.
My experience with special needs children...
I have extensive experience working with children with special needs, particularly children diagnosed with Autism through my work as a Registered Behavior Technician in ABA clinics, schools, and in-home settings. Throughout my career, I have supported children with a wide range of developmental, communication, behavioral, and social needs while helping them build skills that promote independence and success in their daily lives.
My responsibilities have included implementing individualized treatment plans, teaching communication and social skills, supporting emotional regulation, encouraging positive behaviors, and helping children develop daily living skills. I have experience using positive collaboration when working with children with special needs. I work closely with families, teachers, and clinical teams to ensure children receive the support they need while celebrating their progress and achievements along the way.

Full-Time Nanny Available in Houston, TX: Bj W.
I'm a dedicated and compassionate Career Nanny individual with a passion for anything child related. My journey began in high school when I had the opportunity to become a co nanny to a family who my mom was already a nanny for, I quickly fell in love with the job. I went on to receive my Bachelors in Sociology and Minor in Psychology giving me a deep understanding of child development and behavioral milestones to daily care. Over the years, I've gained hands-on experience from managing newborn feeding schedules, sleep training, potty training to supporting teenagers with school projects, and organizing household logistics. I take immense pride in helping a home run smoothly while creating a safe, happy and nurturing environment where children can truly be themselves. Outside of work, I enjoy spending as much time with my family whether we are out fishing or working on a puzzle. I also love a good DIY project and making baked goods from scratch, banana bread being my specialty.
