One of my favorite moments was when a little boy I cared for told me, “You’re my safe person.” We were just sitting on the floor reading books, but to him, it meant everything. Moments like that remind me why I love this work it’s not just about routines or activities, it’s about being someone a child can truly trust and feel loved by.
