Is understanding the needs of the child and putting their needs first. Also, learning specifics needs, if any, of that child and knowing they there can be differences between them and other children. All children are unique and should be treated kindly and respectful regardless.

My favorite nannying. moments are watching my daughter grow into a bright young lady and seeing her navigate the world on her own as a woman. Watching her reciprocate what she’s learned from home, and only to utilize what she has learned and by guiding others in need. She is kind, compassionate, respectful to her herself as well as others, which is a true reflection of who I am.

During my childcare experience I have worked in an after school program for 2 years with elementary school children. I provided them with food and activities throughout the evening. After that I worked for the boys and girls club where I would watch children ages 4-16 years old. We would feed them follow protocols and daily schedules. We would also go on various field trips. Finally I babysat a little boy with Down syndrome! I would pick him up from school and do drop off. I would also prep his food do his laundry bath him and put him down for naps!
