I was a paraprofessional in a preschool, where I assisted the child in his special needs. This child had behavioral problems and I was able to help him, with his needs.
Assisted the child in how to be nicer to his friends in the classroom and would help him control his special needs. At times the child would hit others including myself and the other teachers, and I was able to help him in why it is not okay to hit others. If the child was having a good day, I would reward him by adding stickers in his notebook and would say, "If you have more than 10 stickers I will buy you a prize"
On multiple occasions the child was rewarded and learned why it is not okay to touch others.
