A little bit about me

Hello! I am a third year Anthropology/Sociology student at UCSC who looooves caring for children. I have worked as a baby-sitter for a variety of different kids, while also having some professional experience as a camp councilor, lifeguard, and teaching assistant that has taught me so much about child-development and ways to empower and understand kids. I would also just like to note that since I go to UCSC it is pretty easy for me to get regularly COVID tested through the university as well. Overall, I would just like to say I have always found working with children to be incredibly inspiring and rewarding work. I am a passionate, nurturing-loving, dedicated care-taker that is willing to take on and adapt to any challenges kids can bring as well, in fact I always look forward to those challenges because there is always more to learn about children!

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a Teaching Assistant at DeLavaega Elementary last year in which I cared for a group of about 20 first and second graders. I have also been a camp councilor at a sleep-away camp called Camp Winnarainbow every summer since 2016. My first three years I was a junior councilor in training and the last year I was fully employed and was in charge of 24/7 caring for a group of girls for ages varying from 9-13 years old.
