Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I took care of my cousin one years baby from November 2025, till late March 2026 while she went to work everyday when I was unemployed at the time. I had her from 7am-5pm everyday. And also help babysat my nephew when he was a newborn for my sister when she had to work overnight. They could tell you that I am incredible with children.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love any activities with children. It could be from playing outside at the playground or relaxing at home painting. I can take anything and turn into a positive fun activity that the children will love and use as they grow.
The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters to me the most as a nanny is building a bond with children. I want any child that is in my protection to feel safe and loved and know that they can depend on me. Also being a good nanny is having a great bond with the parents, communication is key when a child is involved. Parents should feel at ease when they are asking for support when it comes to their children and I want them to know that their child will always be safe with me.
My experience with special needs children...
I have a little sister who is diagnosed with autism and BPD. I can say she is a little challenge at times especially when catering to her wants and needs. But I have found ways to redirect her actions and emotions without making her upset or have an episode. I love everything about her especially how incredibly smart and talented she is.
The most important part about being a nanny...
A funny moment I had while babysitting was when I took this 5 years old I was watching at the time to the park and she tripped coming down the stairs and got very upset. So I kicked the stairs she tripped on and said “HOW DARE YOU STAIRS DON’T TRIP MY KID”. She thought was very funny and started laughing plus this couple that was next to us thought it was funny too. A lil embarrassing on my side but she completely forgot about her falling and got right back to playing so it was worth it at the end.
