More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I am an experienced childcare provider with a strong background caring for children of all ages, including those with complex medical and developmental needs. I spent over six months supporting a family at Ronald McDonald House, assisting in the care of a toddler on dialysis and another child with significant delays. I am comfortable using medical equipment such as G-tubes, oxygen support, feeding tubes, suction devices, cough assist machines, and braces.
I also cared for three young children (ages 3, 5, and 7), managing daily routines, potty training, and conflict resolution while creating a supportive, structured environment. Most recently, I worked as a Lead Teacher for ages 2–5 in a daycare. I am passionate about providing safe, attentive, and compassionate care and am relocating to Washington in April because I’m getting married!!!!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Kiddos always love bubbles! And they are a cheap treat I can bring myself!
Bike rides and walks are always fun summer activity!
I love to get dirty! Water tables and mud puddles are the best!
Story book time! Most kids love to read and be read too!
Building towers with blocks or magnetiles!
Tag and races, of course you gotta let them think they are faster then you;) or maybe they actually are!

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is building a trusting, safe, and supportive relationship with the children. When kids feel secure, understood, and valued, they’re able to learn, grow, and express themselves confidently. I believe it’s important to balance nurturing care with structure and consistency, while also supporting each child’s individual needs and development. Being a nanny isn’t just about supervision, it’s about becoming a reliable, positive presence in a child’s life, being someone they enjoy and look up too, while supporting the family as a whole.
My experience with special needs children...
I was an aid in high school for the special education class for 2 years, and I worked for 3 years at a group home for special needs adults ranging from minor cerebral palsy- severe Down syndrome and autism. I’ve lived in the Ronald McDonald House in Minneapolis for 6+ months helping take care of a boy (2) who has a kidney Disease and does dialysis, and a boy (1) who has a rare gene mutation, and is very delayed I am comfortable with lots of medical equipment such as G tube, oxygen, giving meds via mouth or feeding tube, O2 monitors, “the Vest”, cough assist, etc.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Blowing up a bounce house in the summer time! We spent endless hours playing on it with water and bubbles!! And going on bike rides and walks of course! Making mud pies and the peaceful feeling of exhaustion after a long day of fun!
