Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Some of the indoor activities most enjoy doing with kids is reading for them, singing together, coloring, drawing, painting, building things in Legos. Outdoors activities I enjoy the most is to have a nice picnic, go for a good walk, go to the park, to the zoo sometimes between others.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with wonderful families, and I look forward to continuing to do so in the future. In my experience as a babysitter, I have learned to be an effective communicator and to work collaboratively with parents to ensure that the needs of children are satisfied. I like to keep parents updated on the progress of the children and any problems that may arise. In addition, I have learned to be a leader and to make important decisions in emergency situations. I am very proud that I have been able to help the families I have worked with through some difficult times, and I am always willing to do whatever it takes to make sure the children are safe, happy and healthy.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I remember in my first year working as a nanny I took care of two adorable twin boys who were 18 months old at the time. Taking care of them while being two at the same time allowed me to discover that even though they were together all the time and did the same activities, they were two completely different little ones, with different preferences from which toy they wanted to use to which activities they most enjoyed doing. I remember very fondly when it was time for them to take their nap how Kaleb could be peacefully sleeping while his brother apparently had no intention of doing so. Planning daily what to do to give them both an environment of comfort and happiness made my time with them quite interesting.
