My experience with special needs children...

One child I worked with has Fetal Alcohol Syndrome so I joined a Samantha Moe group where I learned a lot, I also took her to her therapists' sessions, and during the group meetings with other kids and families, we had the honor to count on a specialist that talked to us about different behaviors and how to handle different situations with the kids. I had to help her get ready for school and take her either to the bus stop or drive her to school. When she was back home, we played or read or cooked, until her parents arrived home.
