More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am a mother of three who chose to stay home in the formative years (1-7) before the children started school. I have worked as a Counselor at the Children's Advocacy Center, Children's Home Society, Children's Medical Services and in my younger years worked as a nanny for friends and neighbors.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Reading is always a favorite. Play-Doh or art, or Legos etc. Trips to the science center, the zoo, theme parks, library story time, or simply enjoying the outdoors at home with their swings or toys.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Meeting a child at their level consistently, with gentle, affectionate care. Understanding developmental stages and milestones so behavioral expectations are within the scope of their ability. Creating a safe and predictable routine.

My experience with special needs children...

Professional assessments where referrals were being made for in-home services to ensure adequate care.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The delight on a child's face when reading a funny book or watching their favorite show or reaching a milestone like riding a bike.

Hi My name is nayelis , and I’m a caring, dependable, and patient nanny with hands-on experience caring for children every day as a mother of two.
