I would always help out my teachers after I graduated. He would take his kids on field trips and he ran a club after school, so I would always help him with the kids and make sure they were all taken care of.

I know I have enough energy for anything kids love to do, but I'll always be happy to play outside, do some coloring, play with legos, or cars, or even have the occasional tea party. Really I'm just open to everything.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I feel like the most important thing about being a nanny, besides giving the parents peace of mind, is giving the child peace of mind. Making sure the child has a kind and responsible person looking after them when their parents are working or away from the house is very important. Dependability and accountability are also a big deal in themselves.

It wasn't necessarily a nanny moment, but I remember when I babysat for a family friend for a couple of hours. this little boy was the sweetest thing! He and I played with his toys and had some dinner while we waited for his parents to get back and since he was an only child, he got kind of lonely some of the time, so he was always excited to see me. After they moved away, I kind of missed them, but I knew it was just a big adventure for the little guy.
