More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My name is Angela, and caring for children has always been a big part of my life. I started babysitting at 14, and for the past year, I’ve been working at McCormick Preschool, where I’ve gained hands-on experience with early childhood education, child development, and creating fun, structured activities that help little ones learn and grow. I’m also certified in childcare and committed to providing a safe, positive, and engaging environment for every child I care for. Whether it’s story time, outdoor play, or helping with daily routines, I love being part of those everyday moments that make childhood so special. I’d be thrilled to bring that same care and energy to your family! I have worked with infants up to preschoolers.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love keeping kids active, creative, and curious! Some of my favorite activities include:
🎨 Arts and crafts — painting, coloring, and making fun DIY projects.
📚 Story time — reading books together and helping build early literacy skills.
🌳 Outdoor play — going on walks, playing at the park, and exploring nature.
🎵 Music and movement — singing, dancing, and using rhythm to make learning fun.
🧩 Learning games — age-appropriate puzzles, counting, and problem-solving activities.
🍪 Simple cooking or baking — letting kids help with easy recipes and snacks.
I enjoy creating a balance of fun, learning, and structure so each day feels exciting and meaningful!

The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is building trust and genuine connection with both the children and their parents. It’s about creating a safe, loving environment where kids feel supported to explore, learn, and be themselves. Every family is different, so I believe in being patient, reliable, and adaptable — someone parents can count on and children look forward to seeing each day.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments was with a little one at McCormick Preschool who was just learning to crawl. Every day, we’d practice together on the play mats, and I’d cheer them on as they inched forward a little more. The day they finally made it across the mat, they looked up at me with the biggest smile — so proud of themselves! Moments like that remind me how rewarding it is to celebrate every milestone, no matter how small.

My name is Miriam, I am 24 years old, and looking to find a full time job as a nanny. I have always been drawn to jobs in childcare and education. I love academics, and I have a goal of getting myself back into school as soon as possible. I come from a big family of 5 kids. I love reading, sports, exercise, cooking, traveling, and trying new things! I am looking for a family that I can grow with.
I am currently an RBT working in special education. As much as I love the work I do, the field is unfortunately underpaid and I’m interested in making a career shift to allow me to level up my life in other ways!
