I have served as a nanny for over five years, but I have also served in church ministry as a children's director for two years.

I love being outdoors as much as possible and not wasting a single moment with kids! They have so much imagination and creativity, and I seek to cultivate that as much as possible, by doing things such as crafts, playing outside, and anything active.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters to me most about being a nanny if getting to serve the family as best as possible. I long to serve not just the children, but the entire household, wanting to have the input of the parent and understand exactly what they are looking for and how to execute that well.

My experience with special needs children...

I served as a part-time nanny for a family who had a thirteen year old boy with Down's Syndrome and am thankful for that opportunity, he taught me so much and I loved getting to help and learn how to serve his specific needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is hard to decide, for I have had many sweet moments, but the one that trumps them all is the simple moments I found with the kids I nannied in the summer full-time. We took a walk each day with their new puppy and one of the children learned how to ride their bike! It was so beautiful to get to be a part of that moment in their life.
