I have babysitting and nannying experience of 9 years. I am currently a nanny for a family which entails taking care of an 2 year old and a 5 year old. However, I have been with this family since the baby was 6 months old and the oldest was 3 years old. I have a very strong passion for working with children and plan to make it my career. I have a lot of background in at home care as well as at a daycare. I was an assistant teacher at an early childhood development center located in Royal Oak Michigan for over a year until I decided to move. As an assistant teacher I would help with anything that needed to be done in and out of the classrooms. I worked with children ranging anywhere from 3 months old to 5 years old. I would individually care for and meet the needs of 4-12 children at a time depending on their ages. I completed all required trainings while working at this center as well as renewed my CPR certification and other testing that was required to work in a childcare center.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to do anything the children love to do! Coloring, outside play, pretend play, toys, board games, puzzles, etc. You name it I can do it! I am also willing to help with homework if need be!
