The most important part about being a nanny...
I was trying to educate a small group of children at my daycare about dandelions and that they aren’t just a useless weed and mentioned that some people even use them for medicine. Before I could get another word in, they were all running around the playground trying to eat the dandelions and telling all the other kids to eat them “for good health”. I then quickly gathered them all to explain that lots of dandelions are sprayed with “bad stuff” and can only be eaten if their parents allow them. But it was so cute to see how excited they all got about dandelions! It also showed that I clearly needed to spruce up my teaching methods:)
