A little bit about me

I am a retired legal secretary who commute to Chicago for over 20 years. Since retirement, I have worked with kids after school, helping them with their homework, reading, practicing writing, taking them to the park, spending time with them playing games and going to the library. I encourage reading rather than having them playing video games or watching television.

I’m fairly new at being a babysitter/tutor and really enjoy being with children. They are the future. Families have busy schedules and I like to help by meeting their needs.

I am a mother and my son is a high school teacher in Chicago. I have a niece and nephew who are also teachers. Teaching is a high calling. Children need time and interaction with their family and other significant people like a nanny. I will do my best to focus on your child’s needs and report to you daily.

On a personal note, I enjoy knitting and reading. I try to work out at the gym, and I am looking forward to becoming a grandmother for the first time in March.
