I was a babysitter for one summer when I was younger and the following 4 years I've been working as a caregiver, this past year I've been working as a caregiver and a CNA.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love encouraging children to go outside and explore their imagination. When I was younger we were very big on connecting with nature, I enjoy helping children do the same now. I also believe education and art are very important for children so I love taking them to museum's and zoo's or even just changing the channel from paw patrol to PBS kids, it's the little things that matter.
My experience with special needs children...
I have minimal experience with special needs children, however I have multiple years experience with dementia patients. Patience and understanding is the biggest thing I've learned from those experiences.
