Indoor I like to do puzzles, color, play with play doe, or any toys the child likes to play with. Outdoors, I like taking them to parks, on walks. Sidewalk chalk, bubbles. I’ve even been to romp and roll.
The most important part about being a nanny...
It’s the feeling you get, watching a child grow and becoming a part of a family. It’s telling a child when you’re putting them down for a nap and you say “ I love you “ and they say it back . It’s watching them flourish, it’s teaching them colors, ABC’s numbers, and they get it. It’s snuggling with them reading a story. The worst thing though is when your time is up and you have to leave. It definitely leaves a hole in your heart. I have been lucky enough though that my parents always call me back for date nights and I do FaceTime them once a month to say hello.
My experience with special needs children...
I’ve never cared for a special needs child, but not saying I wouldn’t
The most important part about being a nanny...
Is when your leaving to go home and the child is clinging to your legs telling you not to go, to come play instead.
