One of the families I worked with had premie twins and a 3-year-old, so I’m very comfortable balancing the needs of multiple young children, including those who require extra care and attention. I’m also a certified music teacher with four years of public school experience and hold a certification in special education, which has strengthened my ability to support children with a wide range of developmental needs in both structured and nurturing environments.

It’s about creating a safe and supportive environment where children feel loved, understood, and free to grow into their unique selves. My experience with children with special needs includes working in a variety of settings such as public school classrooms, several after-school programs, and community organizations. I’ve supported children with a range of needs, including children with developmental delays, children with autism, and children who experience behavioral challenges. My special education certification has equipped me with strategies to provide individualized support, foster inclusion, and create a safe, encouraging environment where every child can thrive.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was spending a sunny afternoon with a curious and energetic 4 year old boy at the zoo. He was so excited to see the animals, especially the giraffes. Afterward, we went to a nearby park for a picnic and some time on the playground. His joy and energy were contagious, and it was one of those simple, happy days that reminded me why I love working with children.
