A little bit about me

I’m 25 years old and want to move out to Oregon, I am born from Texas and raised in both Texas and Mexico. I grew up with a younger brother and older sister and ever since I can remember I was taking care and supporting my siblings since my mother was a single mom of three. I’ve always had that drive to take care of those around me and nurture them and I have basically nannied every single one of the kids in my family ! I’ve never been a nanny outside of family but I have worked as a teacher's aid for 2 years (elementary and middle school, with >6 months with special needs students) and worked at a daycare for around a year (after school caregiver 5-12 years old). I would love to add full time nanny to my work experience and since I’m great with kids I think it would be a perfect job for me! I am super flexible with my time and don't mind picking up hours on weekends on occasions. I'm a great cook and dedicated to fit your child's and your needs as best as i can ! pet friendly.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I especially remember taking care of my niece, my sister at the time was a single mother going to college and work so i took a leap year in college to help nanny my new born niece. I taught her to walk and speak single words by the time she was 8 months, cared and feed for her from the morning till my sister came home from work. I remember loving ever single moment from her cute sleeping face, to her crazy little human antics and it was so fascinating how much knowledge she absorbed, i loved talking and explaining everything to her from different subjects such as nature, space, animals, words etc. to her daily finger-pointing curiosities. I to this day still nanny her on occasions, and i really do think that my patient, loving and supportive teachings and care really helped shape her into the wonderful, smart explorer she is now at 8 years old.
