More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a member of CASA in Atlanta pre-pandemic. CASA's are court appointed special advocates for children in the foster care system. In addition to the experience I got from being a CASA I also had to pass a rigorous background check to be able to work with the children.
Additionally, I have 5 years nanny experience with 4 amazing families.
Lastly, I have experience providing play therapy for children through the Mercer Marriage and Family Therapy program.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love going to the zoo, playing with toys, doing sensory activities, going to the pool, and having dance parties among many more!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I see my role as a nanny first and foremost to support the parents/caregivers. Being a parent/caregiver is hard and sometimes people forget that taking care of yourself enables you to be the best parent/caregiver you can be. As a nanny I am there to make sure everyone gets their needs met! I want to make sure the parents/caregivers get a break and some help with the cores while also meeting not only the base needs of their child/children but their emotional and developmental needs as well.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I worked with a family from the time their child was 6 months to the time he was 3 years old. During that time I became very close with him and his family, I would tell him I loved him every time I left and one day after about a year of me saying "ok bye-bye love you!" on my way out the door I got my first "love you ninnie" back.
