I worked at the Jewish Community Center in Tucson as a camp counselor, an advocate for a little boy with autism, and an after school care counselor! I worked there for about 3.5 years and I loved every minute of it!

My experience with special needs children...
I worked with a 5yo boy with autism for about a year and it was one of the best things I have ever done. I was able to connect with him and learn how he communicated and I was able to teach him mannerism that he uses with other kids and I was able to watch him grow and thrive with his peers
