I was one-on-one with a 5 year boy who had down syndrome for 3 months at Sam Boardman Elementary. I was also involved in the daily activities of other special needs children in the school including autism, ADHD and non-verbal situations.

This summer the four girls in the was nannying for and I went to the beach for the day for the first time since the quarantine period started and seeing them able to finally run and play in the water, be loud, and get all sandy for the first time all summer made me so happy. Kids need moments when they can be completely free from the stress of the world, thats what makes them kids!
