A little bit about me

Hi! I’m a fun, caring, and reliable babysitter with lots of experience working with kids of all ages. I’ve spent summers at a laid-back arts and crafts camp for kids 7–13, where I ran creative projects, games, and outdoor activities. I’ve also coached soccer for ages 3–12, so I’m always ready to kick a ball around or cheer kids on. Back in high school, I worked as a certified lifeguard for four years; so safety is always on my mind, even while we’re having fun.

I’m also a recent graduate from Barnard College of Columbia University, and I’m happy to help with homework, keep kids active and engaged, and pitch in wherever I’m needed. I genuinely love spending time with kids; doing crafts, playing games, or just listening and being present. My goal is to make your life easier and make sure your kids feel safe, happy, and supported every step of the way.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve cared for children in a variety of roles! I worked at a summer camp focused on arts and crafts and games for kids aged 7–13, coached youth soccer for ages 3–12, and was a certified lifeguard during high school. I’ve also cared for younger family members and love creating fun, safe, and engaging experiences for kids.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love making art, staying active and puzzles!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I grew up as an only child, and some of my best childhood memories were spent making new friends; playing, creating, and laughing together. At heart, I’m still that same girl who loves stuffed animals, imaginative games, and making fun crafts. To me, the most important part of being a nanny is building a connection with kids; making them feel seen, safe, and celebrated. Children are so funny, sweet, and curious, and I feel lucky every time I get to be part of their world.

My experience with special needs children...

While I haven’t worked in a formal role with special needs children, I do have close family members with special needs and have spent meaningful time caring for and supporting them. This has taught me a lot about patience, communication, and being attentive to different needs and routines. I’m always open to learning and supporting families however I can.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments was when I was making bracelets with the kids, just for fun, and they got really excited about my designs. They started asking me to help make theirs and even came up with their own creative ideas. We ended up spending the whole afternoon crafting, laughing, and showing off our bracelets. It was such a simple activity, but it turned into a really special bonding moment.
