I've done many summer camps over my years working with little kids. My family used to own a Skating rink, and we hosted kids summer camps for about 3 years. I would teach them how to skate, work as a team, and mainly have fun!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love taking kids to the park, explore in the woods, or even on a walk. If allowed in the summer by the parents, swimming is a fun activity to do also. Or even as simple as playing in the sprinklers or splashing around in a little kitty pool.

I think the most important part about being a nanny is connected with your kids. If you are watching kids and they don't feel safe and happy with you then it's probably not the right fit. As a nanny my job is to provide a safe and exciting environment for them, so that they get excited to be with their nanny.
My experience with special needs children...
I don't have much experience with specials needs children, but I was going to something called the Spin dance for about 4 years. It was mainly special needs adults, and me and my aunt and friends would go there to dance, hand our cookies and juice, and just mainly spend time with them.
