Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I am a very creative and crafty person! I love researching new crafts and ideas even when I’m not on the job. I’m the type to use portions of what I get paid with to buy supplies and treats for the kids 🤣 I am also a Younger person, so I do play a few video games , if they are allowed in your household haha 🤣 But usually, I’ll have something new for the kids everyday! Never a dull moment with Aryana !

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is wanting the kids to not only be able to succeed, but have the opportunity to say that their childhood was amazing and fun. One that most people nowadays can’t say. The childhood is the most importsnt developmental stage in one’s life. What they are surrounded with and exposed to shapes them into who they will be: their beliefs, their values, their goals. And I like to instill only positive things. Which, most of the time I instill only what the PARENTS believe they want their child to be around.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I don’t quite know if this counts, but I was taking care of my littlest sibling , when she was about 3 years old . I remember my mother leaving the house to run errands, and telling me that I was in charge of my siblings. As soon as my mother’s car left the driveway, the little one runs up to the window and watches her speed away with her eyes already starting to well up ! ☹️ I sympathized with her, and reassured her that mother would be back shortly , and that this was only a temporary thing. Then I handed her some watermelon sour patch kids, and cuddled up on the couch and watched frozen . And she was perfectly after that candy lol 🤣
