My experience with special needs children...
Over the years I had to raise my younger brother who is 11 years old now. From birth he's been diagnosed with ADHD and autism and having a single parent mom, I had to step in from a young age to help take care of him. I learned how to communicate with him, I also taught him how to communicate with others. When it comes to daily task I either monitor or lend a helping hand. He's very social and enjoys doing a lot of physical actives. This lead me to volunteer with the special needs kids at my high school for 2 years playing physical sports such as basketball, baseball, soccer, and track and field. I became associated with all of the kids and learned how each kid functions. Every kid is different and has different needs they need help with. Helping children/ teens with needs has become a passion of mines.
