Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I am currently an assistant preschool teacher and have been working that job since March 2023. In that time, I have learned how to teach, care for, and interact with children while keeping them engaged and entertained. Prior to this I was a camp counselor and looked after children 12-16. I have also watched groups of younger children during church events, providing snacks and activities for them.

Going for walks, playing at indoor or outdoor parks, swimming, arts and crafts, projects (of any subject), playing pretend/with toys.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Making sure the kids are comfortable with me and ensuring their needs are met. I also think that communication with the family and children is important because lack of communication leads to problems.
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with children that have dyslexia and ADHD. I was able to help them stay focused and make sure they were well taken care of. I have also worked with children on the spectrum, but as every child is different, would need further assistance starting out.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I took two little boys to a local field where we fed ducks and walked around in the woods. It was so fun to see them love the world around them.
