Since freshmen year of high school I’ve been involved in a program through my school called unified arts. This program allows me to help teach and help the kids in my school that have mental, physical or learning disabilities, it has been the highlight of my high school experience. Aside from that I mostly just take care of my younger siblings.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Arts and crafts have always been one of my favorite things to do with kids. Painting, drawing, clay, popsicles stick houses, cooking and baking, etc. I enjoy many outdoor activities as well! Taking walks, playing with chalk, having little picnics outside, gardening, etc.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe The most important part is to be patient. Children can be a handful and almost every child is raised different from the rest, but no matter what you should love and care for the child like they are you’re own and understand that there is no perfect way to parent. Parents do the best they can with the knowledge they have and what they’ve learned. Being a parent is a hard job, and sometimes they just need a little help!

My favorite part about taking care of any child is, no matter what the kid has been through or, how old they are, they never fail to make me smile. Although some parts of the job may be stressful, and exhausting but knowing that I get to take part in raising and helping this child grow to be an amazing adult, makes everything worth it.
