A little bit about me

I’m an educator with 8 years of experience, particular with ages 0-6. While I have worked in both traditional American and alternative programs, I tend gravitate to the Italian approaches in supporting early development while simultaneously cultivating meaningful learning experiences. I value the Montessori method for the embedded opportunities to problem solve, see a task through, and build resilience. I am especially inspired by the purpose of the Reggio Emilia philosophy—to empower children to take pride in their accomplishments by being an active participant in their growth journey. I have also maintained various part-time babysitting and nannying positions over the past 12 years. I have a bachelors degree in English, as well as a Master of Arts in Teaching for PreK—3rd. I am CPR and First Aid certified.

I moved from New Orleans, LA to Atlanta, GA in August 2022. I am eager to begin a new chapter in childcare and education by supporting families outside of the class.
