I don't mind walking or playing outdoor games with kids, or even kids that play video games. I have experience with hyper kids that play with waterguns and toys, but also experience with the ones that play with dolls. I'm willing to learn!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part about being a nanny is to know how to take care of the kids when they go through a hard time. Of course kids will sometimes struggle when they get a babysitter or notice that someone else is watching them other than their guardian, which is why it's important to know how to cheer them up and ways to help cope. The best way to do this is to offer it in the beginning. Kids have very sensitive feelings and should be necessary to know how to acknowledge the negative emotions and reactions they could have, and try to make the heat of the situation calm itself down.
My experience with special needs children...
I used to babysit my cousin, who has a mental disability. I've also babysat kids with autism and ADHD. I have experience with kids that have a hard time regulating their emotions or feelings, and even find ways to help them cope. I'd need a bit of information when it comes to what I need to provide them with.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment when babysitting my cousin is when he pulled me into a room with his toys to play robbers. He would hand me a toy gun and we would find the "targets" around the house. My favorite part was when he would grab me by my leg and attempted to try and see if he could pick me up and throw me in the sky, little dude's face turned red in an attempt haha.

I love kids and as of next school year i’m beginning my elementary education experience as a teacher aid in a classroom! As i’m hoping to go into teaching as a career.
