I think the most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel loved, supported, and encouraged to grow. It’s important to be patience, attentive, and adaptable to their needs. Building trust and open communication with both the children and their parents is also key to forming a strong, healthy relationship.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Some of my favorite nanny moments are the little milestones and heartfelt connections that make the job so rewarding! It could be seeing a child’s excitement when they master something new, like tying their shoes or solving a puzzle, or hearing them say, “I did it!” for the first time. Moments like story time, sharing uncontrollable giggles over something silly, or hearing them call you their favorite person are truly special. Even the quiet, everyday moments, like holding their hand during a walk or having deep, unexpected conversations, can remind me of the unique bond I share and the positive impact I am making in their lives.
