More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have over 14 years of childcare experience, starting with babysitting at age 13. I've cared for all ages, from infants to school-aged kids.

I worked at a Montessori daycare with infants ages 6 weeks to 18 months. As the assistant teacher, I assisted with feedings, diaper changes, naps, developmental activities, and creating a calm, nurturing environment. I've also independently cared for my younger cousins since I was 15 , giving me the experience managing multiple children and adapting to different personalities and routines.

My background is psychology has also helped me better understand children's emotional social, and developmental needs, allowing me to respond with patience, empathy and age -appropriate guidance.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Some of my favorite activities include arts and crafts, baking simple treats together, movie afternoon, singing and dancing, reading books, puzzles and appropriate games.

I also enjoy getting the kids out of the house whenever possible. Whether it's visiting the playground, splash park, library, taking a nature walk, or exploring local kid-friendly activities, I think hands-on experience creates some of the best memories. While I'm not much of a pretend-play expert, I'm always happy to encourage children's imaginations through creative projects, music, and real world adventures
