I started working for a family with a little girl who had just turned 2 years old who had very strong anxiety with new people and people she wasn’t around every day. Before meeting her I asked her parents if she had any calming things and one was Mickey Mouse. When I first met her I wore a Mickey Mouse shirt and at first she was a little scared meeting a new person but then when she saw Mickey she simply lit up with excitement and yelling Mickey! She was the sweetest darling and after about a year she came out of her shell and felt more and more comfortable with new people.

Princess Fashion Show! One family I worked with who had two little girls loved to play dress up and loved playing fashion show. One day however the youngest wanted to to wear ALL the costume pieces at the same time. The total number of pieces, from dresses, to tiaras, hats, bracelets, Hawaiian leis, glass slippers, and sunglasses was 23!
