One of my favorite nanny moments was helping a 4-year-old I was watching learn how to ride a bike without training wheels. She was nervous at first, but we practiced every afternoon, and the day she finally did it on her own, she yelled, “I did it, Audra!” and gave me the biggest hug. Seeing her pride and excitement made me so happy—it’s moments like that that remind me why I love working with kids.
