Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve worked at my home church, life-gate, looking after and caring for children ages 2-4. Watching them while parents are out, and/or in service. Changing diapers, feeding snack, little activities, and handling behavior was all included.
I’ve also watched over my neighbors kids (family friends) while their parents went out to go eat, or on dates. Meals cooked, activities, games, and just mostly chilling because these kids were around the age of 7-11.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Coloring, going outside, “cooking” (which really means experimenting with random things for fun lol), watching tv, crafts, reading, eating haha, etc.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being very responsible and visual. Something like an accident could happen in seconds, or something really exciting could happen in seconds! It’s all just about being very attentive, and just enjoying your time. Being with the kids and developing relationships with them is important so they know you’re their friend and want to have fun! Enjoying your time with them is so important (along with safety)!! :)
My experience with special needs children...
I don’t have much experience with special need children, although I’d love to have an opportunity to learn.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The hugs after I leave, just knowing that the kids had a great time with me. It’s important that they’re satisfied at the end of the night or day. It’s not about just being there with them or just watching them.. it’s more about memories and them wanting me to come back. My goal is for them to be excited to see me and to have fun :)
