I worked at a certified center for almost 2 years as a preschool teacher, and I worked in the infant room at the high school I graduated at for one period for about 4 months. I really enjoy working with kids and the experiences I have had so far. I believe love, learning, and laughter are very important in the development of a child. I have experience with prepping and doing activities, book reading, songs, games, and handling emotions/behavior. I am CPR/first aid certified. I primarily work with ages 2-5, but can be flexible because I'm a mom too and have a 10-month-old baby girl. I have been around all age ranges. Family is very important to me. A child and infant's experiences, what they learn, and how they learn it matter greatly. It's important to help them to have the best ones they can because what happens now will impact their tomorrow and ultimately their future learning and decisions. It's important to allow adventure, curiosity, and exploration to take place.
