A little bit about me

Hi! I'm a caring, calming, and compassionate person who enjoys spending time with kids! I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I'm planning on obtaining my masters degree in clinical counseling for children. I've had experience with kids from an early age since my grandmother owned a daycare center. I am certified in child and infant CPR/first aid and can supervise swimming as I've given private and public lessons to children at my local pool. I've worked as a daycare assistant for many years, working with infants to preschool aged children. Upon graduating, I began work as a child/adolescent behavioral technician, helping ensure patient safety, manage crises, facilitate groups/ensure structure, gaining further knowledge in the utilization of therapeutic practices, such as DBT and mindfulness skills. Overall, I believe in teaching children how to be kind/respectful, express their individuality, and establish an environment where feelings are shared and communicated.
