A little bit about me

I have been caring for children of all ages since I was 14 and have a lifelong passion for working with kids. From ages 12-18, I volunteered at a girls' camp where I was responsible for my own group of girls. In that role, I planned daily activities, provided supervision and guidance, and helped create a fun, safe, and supportive environment. I was also CPR certified and assisted in training others in CPR skills.

I originally pursued a degree in education with the goal of becoming a teacher, but I was unable to complete the program due to a family medical emergency. Despite this, my dedication to childcare has remained strong. I am patient, dependable, and committed to helping children feel safe, supported, and encouraged as they grow and learn.

I volunteered with a girls camp every summer until I turned 18. I was in charge of a group of six to eight girls and designed their itinerary with fun activities.

I also watched kids from the time I was 14 for people in my community and was a fan favorite for most!

I love crafting of any sort I believe art is an important outlet for children and a healthy way to express themselves.

I also believe in the importance of outside adventures whether that be playing knights and dragons in the backyard or going to the local park!

Hikes and nature trails are free and easily accessible so I love to go out there and bring books to identify the nature around us.
