More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I currently work as a Lead Teacher at a Child Development Center, where I help plan activities, support children's development, and maintain a positive learning environment. I have also worked as a nanny, assistant teacher, camp counselor, and swim instructor. I also volunteered at the Fernbank Science Museum. These roles have given me experience caring for children of different ages and developmental stages.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy arts and crafts, reading, educational games, outdoor activities, imaginative play, and fun hands-on learning experiences. I love creating activities that keep children engaged, encourage creativity, and help them learn while having fun.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is building trust with both children and parents. I believe children thrive when they feel safe, loved, and supported. My goal is always to create a positive environment where children can learn, have fun, and grow while parents feel confident their children are in good hands.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with and supporting children with different needs through both personal and professional experiences. My mother has been a special needs teacher for over 25 years, and I grew up shadowing her after she recognized my passion for working with children. Watching her advocate for and support her students taught me patience, compassion, adaptability, and the importance of meeting every child where they are. These experiences have helped me develop a strong understanding of creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all children.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments is watching a child master a new skill they have been working hard on, whether it's learning their letters, becoming more independent, or gaining confidence in themselves. Seeing their excitement and pride makes childcare incredibly rewarding.
