A little bit about me

Hi, I’m Austri! As the oldest of five siblings, caring for children has always been second nature to me. I’ve been babysitting and nannying since high school, and professionally I’ve worked as a children’s snowboard and ski instructor for ages 3–14. Most recently, I was employed at a Montessori-based preschool and daycare in Summit County, Colorado, where I also frequently babysat for families from the center.

My Montessori training has given me a thoughtful and engaging approach to childcare — one that emphasizes independence, curiosity, and keeping kids off screens while learning and having fun. I’m more than happy to help with potty training, pick-ups and drop-offs, housekeeping, meal prep, or whatever else your family may need.

I recently relocated to Toms River to live with my grandma while I pursue a Medical Assistant certification program. I love working with kids and look forward to creating a safe, happy, and enriching environment for your family.
