A little bit about me

Hi my name is Aveanna and I live in New Haven area. I am a 20 year old with a love for children and making sure they are properly cared for. I am currently out of school (college) but planning to go back in 2023. While in college I majored in criminal justice for 2 years while holding a part time job. I have experience with children being that I have two younger brothers who I’ve babysat and cared for since birth while my mother worked (I still continue to do when she needs it) and I’ve worked as a summer counselor for youth as well as assisting in classrooms with kids. I also have tutoring skills as I used to volunteer at a middle school helping kids with English homework as well as math. I’ve worked at a summer camp and had to care for and manage super sweet kids in the new haven area. I’ve also been in a classroom setting where I had to prepare lunch and take kids to the playground (assistant teacher) both roles together ranged from infants to about 12 years old. They are highlights of my life and I enjoy having fun and caring for kids very much.
